Barbecued brisket is the dish that first put Texas barbecue on the map, and it made Stubb's name famous on both sides of the Mississippi. Our bestseller, Stubb's Smoked Brisket is a closely trimmed, All-Natural cut of Black Angus beef that's been seasoned by hand with our very own Bar-B-Q Rub, then slow-smoked in an oak wood pit for 10-14 hours. We'll slice it for you or ship it to you whole. Stubb's famous Bar-B-Q beef brisket serves 2-4 people for every 2 lbs.
All Stubb's Smoked Meats have been flash-frozen to ensure freshness during shipment and may arrive partially frozen. As long as the meats are cool to the touch upon arrival, you may serve, refrigerate or store them immediately with confidence. Remove the products from cooler and put them in the refrigerator for thawing if you plan to use them within the next 6 days. To store your meats for future use, place them directly in the freezer. Do not remove plastic until you are ready to begin heating.
Conventional Oven:
Thaw in refrigerator for 12-24 hours before heating.
- Preheat oven to 375°F
- Remove brisket from plastic
- Place a sheet of foil large enough to cover the brisket in a shallow baking pan (two sheets of regular foil or one sheet of heavy duty foil)
- Pour ¼ cup of water over the meat and pinch the foil closed, creating an airtight ''tent'' over the brisket
- Place in preheated oven and heat for 10-12 minutes per pound or until it has reached an internal temperature of 165°F
Warning - Be cautious when removing the foil, as steam may be trapped inside and can cause injuries.
