STUBB’s Bar-B-Q — a Texas institution, known for its live music, rustic atmosphere and authentic slow-smoked, hand-trimmed barbecue — has been making folks smile, satisfied and messy for decades.

In the late 1960’s, C.B. “Stubb” Stubblefield opened his first restaurant in Lubbock, Texas. It quickly became a destination for authentic barbecue and live entertainment. Stubbs was ground zero for musicians like Joe Ely and Stevie Ray Vaughn.

Although small in size, Stubb's Restaurant was always filled with good friends, great music and plenty of Stubb's Legendary Bar-B-Q.

In the early nineties, Stubb’s restaurant relocated to Austin, where it still is today.

The restaurant is located downtown on the corner of Red River and 8th Street, housed in a rustic building with a huge backyard that holds thousands almost nightly for live music.

Next time you’re in austin, stop by and see This legendary texas institution.
